Thank you for choosing R&T Auctions. By registering or bidding with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
IMPORTANT DATES
PAYMENT DEADLINE: Friday, August 21, 2026 at 4:30 PM
PICKUP DEADLINE: Saturday, August 22, 2026
Payment is required by the deadline regardless of your intended pickup date. Unpaid invoices may be cancelled and bidding privileges may be suspended.
Items not picked up by the deadline without prior approved arrangements will be considered abandoned and may be resold, donated, recycled, or disposed of without refund or credit.
BUYER'S PREMIUM & PAYMENT
Accepted payment: Cash, Interac Debit, e-Transfer, Wire Transfer, Certified Cheque/Bank Draft, or Credit Card.
E-Transfer: tracy@rtauctions.ca
Security Question/Answer: Invoice Number
Credit card payments are not accepted by telephone or email.
BIDDING
All bids are final and binding and cannot be withdrawn or cancelled.
A 3-minute soft close applies. Any bid placed within the final 3 minutes extends that lot by an additional 3 minutes.
You are responsible for all bids placed through your bidder account.
ITEM CONDITION
All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with all faults.
Descriptions, photographs, measurements, quantities, retail values and condition information are provided to the best of our knowledge as a guide only.
Please review all photographs and ask any questions before bidding. It is the bidder's responsibility to determine whether an item meets their expectations.
R&T Auctions reserves the right to correct obvious catalog, clerical, description, photograph, quantity or invoice errors.
PICKUP
Please inspect your purchases before leaving our facility.
Once items leave our premises, R&T Auctions is not responsible for missing, incorrect, forgotten or subsequently damaged items.
Buyers are responsible for safely loading and transporting their purchases.
SHIPPING
Shipping is available on most items. Oversized, heavy, fragile, hazardous or restricted items may not qualify.
Shipping is invoiced separately after the auction invoice has been paid.
Handling Fees:
$10 first packaged lot
$2 each additional packaged lot
Fragile items are packed with care but are not insured against breakage. Risk of loss transfers to the buyer once the shipment is released to the carrier.
ONLINE BIDDING
R&T Auctions is not responsible for missed or delayed bids caused by internet interruptions, device issues, software problems, website outages or other technical failures.
We recommend bidding early or using the Maximum Bid feature.
AUCTION CHANGES
R&T Auctions reserves the right to correct information, add or remove lots, combine or divide lots, cancel lots, amend photographs or descriptions, or extend bidding when necessary.
REGISTRATION
Bidders must be 18 years of age or older and provide accurate registration information. Identity verification, including a temporary $1 credit card authorization, may be required.
R&T Auctions reserves the right to approve, refuse, suspend or revoke bidding privileges.
LIABILITY & AUCTION RECORDS
R&T Auctions is not responsible for losses or damages arising from the purchase, pickup, transportation, shipping or use of auction items.
In the event of a dispute, R&T Auctions' bidding records, invoices, photographs and communications will be considered the official auction record.
PRIVACY
Personal information is used only for account verification, auction administration, payments, pickup, shipping and customer communication. We do not sell personal information.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
