R&T AUCTIONS – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Thank you for choosing R&T Auctions!

Our goal is to provide a fair, enjoyable, and transparent auction experience for every bidder. By registering or bidding at auctions.rtauctions.ca or rtauctions.ca, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, as amended from time to time. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between R&T Auctions ("we", "our") and the registered bidder ("you", "your").

Invoices are payable no later than Friday, July 31 , 2026 at 4:30 PM.

PAYMENT

Invoices are payable NO LATER THAN the date and time specified for each auction.

Payment is required regardless of your intended pickup date.

Prompt payment allows us to process invoices efficiently and prepare purchases for pickup or shipping.

Invoices not paid by the stated deadline may be cancelled without further notice. Continued late or unpaid invoices may result in suspension or removal of bidding privileges.

PICKUP

Items are available for pickup beginning at 12:00 PM (Noon) on the day following the auction close, unless otherwise stated.

All purchases must be picked up by the posted pickup deadline. Saturday August 1st 2026

If you require additional time, please contact us before the deadline to make alternate arrangements.

Items not picked up by the deadline, without prior arrangements, will be considered abandoned and may be resold, donated, recycled, or otherwise disposed of without refund or credit. Any reasonable labour, storage, transportation, or disposal costs associated with abandoned property remain the responsibility of the purchaser.

REGISTRATION & ELIGIBILITY

To register and bid with R&T Auctions you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older and legally able to enter into a binding contract.

• Complete any required identity verification, including a temporary $1 credit card authorization if requested.

• Maintain accurate registration information.

• Be responsible for all bids placed using your bidder account.

If you prefer another payment method, you may uncheck the "Charge My Card" option during registration.

R&T Auctions reserves the right to approve, refuse, suspend, or revoke bidder registration or bidding privileges at its sole discretion.

BUYER'S PREMIUM, TAXES & FEES

Unless otherwise stated:

• 17% Buyer's Premium applies to all purchases.

• A 3% processing fee applies to all credit card payments.

• Applicable taxes are charged as required by law.

• Shipping and handling charges are invoiced separately.

• Additional fees may apply for storage, abandoned items, or special handling.

PAYMENT

Unless you opt out during registration, the credit card on file may be charged following the auction.

For security reasons, credit card payments are not accepted by telephone or email.

Ownership of purchased items transfers to the buyer only after payment has been received in full.

AUCTION PROCESS

3-Minute Soft Close

If a bid is placed within the final 3 minutes on any lot, bidding for that lot will automatically extend by 3 additional minutes. Bidding continues until no additional bids are received within the final three minutes.

Bidding

Every bid placed is a commitment to purchase.

• All bids are final.

• Bids cannot be withdrawn or cancelled.

• You are responsible for every bid placed using your bidder account.

• If additional information is important to your purchasing decision, please ask before bidding.

BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES

Please inspect your purchases before leaving our facility.

Once items have left our premises, R&T Auctions cannot be responsible for:

• Missing items • Incorrect items • Forgotten items • Damage occurring after pickup

Buyers are responsible for loading, securing, and transporting their purchases safely.

ITEM DESCRIPTIONS & CONDITION

All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with all faults.

Descriptions, photographs, measurements, quantities, retail values, and condition reports are provided to the best of our knowledge and are intended as a guide only.

We make every reasonable effort to accurately describe and photograph every lot; however, errors or omissions may occasionally occur.

Photographs form part of the lot description and should be reviewed carefully before bidding.

If information regarding an item's condition, quantity, measurements, included accessories, or functionality is important to your purchasing decision, please contact us before bidding.

CATALOG ACCURACY

We strive to provide accurate catalog information. While every reasonable effort is made, errors, omissions, or typographical mistakes may occasionally occur.

Descriptions, photographs, quantities, measurements, retail values, manufacturer information, age, authenticity, materials, functionality, and condition are provided to the best of our knowledge and should be used as a guide only.

It is the bidder's responsibility to determine whether an item meets their expectations before placing a bid.

R&T Auctions reserves the right to correct clerical errors, descriptions, photographs, quantities, invoices, or other catalog information before, during, or after an auction where an obvious error has occurred.

SHIPPING

Shipping is available on most items.

Some oversized, unusually heavy, fragile, hazardous, or restricted items may not qualify for shipping.

Shipping Process

1. Pay your auction invoice.

2. Contact us if shipping is required.

3. We carefully pack, measure, and weigh your items.

4. A separate shipping invoice will be issued.

5. Once paid, your order will be shipped.

Handling Fees

• $10 first packaged lot • $2 each additional packaged lot

Handling fees apply regardless of the shipping carrier selected.

Fragile items are packed with care but are not insured against breakage during transit. R&T Auctions cannot provide refunds or credits for damage occurring during shipping.

If your purchase exceeds Canada Post size or weight limitations, alternate shipping arrangements or local pickup will be required.

Risk of loss transfers to the buyer once items have been released to the shipping carrier.

ONLINE BIDDING

While we work hard to provide a reliable bidding platform, internet service interruptions, power outages, software issues, or other technical difficulties are beyond our control.

R&T Auctions cannot be responsible for missed bids, delayed bids, lost internet connections, website interruptions, platform outages, or technical failures.

We encourage bidders to place bids early and use the Maximum Bid feature whenever possible.

AUCTION CHANGES

R&T Auctions reserves the right to add or remove lots, correct descriptions or photographs, amend catalog information, combine or divide lots, cancel lots, extend bidding where necessary, or correct clerical or administrative errors at any time to ensure the integrity of the auction.

LIABILITY

By participating in our auctions, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless R&T Auctions, its owners, employees, agents, and consignors from any claims, damages, losses, expenses, or liabilities arising from your participation, purchases, transportation, shipping, or use of purchased items.

AUCTION RECORDS

In the event of a dispute, the records maintained by R&T Auctions, including bidding history, invoices, photographs, communications, and auction records, shall be considered final.

PRIVACY

Your privacy is important to us.

Your personal information is collected only to:

• Verify your identity.

• Process payments.

• Maintain auction records.

• Communicate regarding bids, invoices, pickups, shipping, and customer service.

We never sell or share your personal information with third parties.

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time; however, we may continue to contact you regarding bids, invoices, payments, pickup arrangements, shipping, or other matters relating to your account.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
