CONDITIONS OF ITEMS SOLD & OUR ONLINE CATALOG
Our best efforts are made to represent all items accurately in descriptions and photographs; however, all items are ultimately sold on an ‘as is, where is’ basis, with any and all faults. We strongly encourage all bidders to carefully review the details of any lot they intend to bid on, and personally verify the condition of each item/lot during the scheduled preview times. No responsibility is assumed by R&T or the seller for any errors or omissions. No claims will be allowed after goods are removed from premises. Bids cannot be retracted. Where there is conflicting information between the item(s) details and the photograph, the posted written details prevail.
PERSONAL & PROPERTY RISK
The Buyer expressly agrees to indemnify and save RTAUCTIONS.CA and their Sellers/Consignors harmless from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damage or liability, directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from an act, including negligent acts or omissions of R&T AUCTIONS / RTAUCTIONS.CA or anyone acting on our behalf in connection with or arising out of an auction.
ADDITIONS, EDITS & DELETIONS
We reserve the right to edit, remove and/or add lots and/or items to the sale at any point during the auction.
AUCTION RECORDS
In the unlikely event of a dispute, you agree to accept as true the information that we have in our records. Please note that some pictures are for illustration purposes only to give the bidder a better idea of the product they are bidding on. Pictures used for illustration purposes may contain items that help show what the product is for or looks like. Only the item in the description is for sale and you are only bidding on the item(s) in the description not the item(s) you may see in the pictures.
ONLINE BIDDING
For online bidding, please keep in mind that the connection to the internet is not absolutely reliable. Connection problems can happen between or within our office, between or within the software servers, and/or between or within bidders and potential bidders. R&T AUCTIONS will not be held responsible for any of the above possible issues, or for your bids not making it into the system.
SOFT CLOSE
Items close at regular intervals. To prevent a bidder from 'sniping', all bids made in the last 3 minutes of the auction will force an item to stay open for an additional 3 minutes. This will continue until all bidding has ceased.
CATALOG ERRORS & OMISSIONS
Written and oral descriptions are the opinions of R&T AUCTIONS / RTAUCTIONS.CA and should in no way be construed as a guarantee of any kind as to authenticity, age, model, make, materials, condition or any other feature of items being sold. R&T AUCTIONS attempts to catalog every lot correctly and will attempt to point out any defects but will not be responsible or liable for the correctness of the catalog, item descriptions or pictures within. Questions regarding item(s)/lots can be asked by emailing INFO@RTAUCTIONS.CA. By placing a bid, in any capacity, you signify that you have examined the items as fully as you desire and have had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers from RTAUCTIONS.CA that you deem adequate. If you are not satisfied with the information provided regarding any items or lots, do not bid on the item(s)/lot in question. Any listed retail values and/or prices are approximations only. It is your responsibility to do your own due diligence in researching values. Buyers are strongly encouraged to review the details of any lot they intend to bid on. Bids cannot be retracted. Be aware that photographs may differ slightly from the actual item(s). Where there is conflicting information between the item(s) details and the photograph, the posted written details prevail.
All Lots are sold ‘as is, where is’, without any representations or warranties by R&T Auctions, R&T Auctions staff or consignors. This extends to any advertising, Lot listing, oral communication or advertising.
SHIPPING
R&T Auctions ships worldwide via Canada Post. In order to qualify for shipping, one must first pay for any and all auction winnings and contact us to confirm that the items need to be shipped, and to confirm the shipping address. We will then pack up winning lots, measure and weigh the package. We will then send a shipping invoice to be paid for separately by the bidder. Once paid, we will purchase, print out and affix the shipping label to the package. R&T Auctions ships multiple times a week. For alternate shipping accommodations, one may submit requests to info@rtauctions.ca after the initial purchase invoice has been paid in full. Please note that the dimension or weight of lots may make them ineligible for shipping with Canada Post, at which point the buyer will be solely responsible in arranging alternate pickup or shipping methods.
Shipping invoices will include the actual shipping charge from Canada Post as well as any applicable handling fees. Please note that should you seek out and arrange separate shipping, handling fees will still apply. Handling fees are $10 on first lot packaged and an additional $2 for every lot thereafter.
Please note fragile items are packed to the best of our ability. There is no insurance coverage on fragile items. We cannot guarantee nor apply any credit if any fragile items become broken in transit.
